Why this matters

From the first garden on, Scripture treats the earth as the Lord's and gives us the work of tending it.

Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.

Genesis 2:15 (NKJV)

The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.

Psalm 24:1 (NKJV)

I will open rivers in desolate heights, And fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, And the dry land springs of water.

Isaiah 41:18 (NKJV)
